unfig is made by Affordance Design Studio in Bengaluru, India. This page explains what we collect on this website and in the unfig app, and what we never see. Questions go to hello@affordancedesign.in.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist we keep your email address, and your name and design idea if you add them, with the time you signed up. We use them to confirm your founder spot and to tell you when unfig opens. The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this site. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone else, and we keep them until you ask us to remove them or the founders programme no longer needs them.

Analytics

If you agree, we use Google Analytics to count visits and clicks on this website, such as how many people open the FAQ or join the waitlist. It sets cookies in your browser and Google processes your IP address. We never send your email or name to Google. If you decline, Google Analytics does not load at all. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page.

The unfig app

Your designs are saved in your browser as you work, and in the .unfig file you download. Your AI key stays in your browser, or in your Mac's Keychain through the optional helper. Requests to an AI provider go straight from your browser to that provider, under their terms. We do not receive your designs, your prompts, the AI's replies or your keys.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing us. We will reply within 30 days. These rights come from data protection laws including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, for visitors from Europe and the UK, the GDPR.

Changes

If this page changes, we will update the date above, and email waitlist members about anything that affects them.
